SORRY, BATTLE OF THE APPS HAS ENDED.

WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING ENTRIES FOR THIS CONTEST. CHECK BACK SOON TO SEE WHO THE WINNERS ARE.

If you’re a developer of Edtech or considering creating digital learning products, here’s a chance to strut your stuff and win some serious lunch money.

Show off your skills in the Battle of the Apps, now until October 27, 2015. Enter your education app for a chance to win the Grand Prize of a Lenovo Horizon 2s and a cool check for $1,000.

You read that right. And the first 50 entrants will receive a $20 Amazon gift card and a Battle logo sticker (shown above).

The winning Windows app will also get the royal treatment with a feature spot in our global app platforms such as Lenovo Companion and the new Apps for You, which are available on every Windows PC we sell. That’s millions of potential customers you can reach. So, what are you waiting for?

Visit the LenovoDev Battle of the Apps contest page to submit your app.

Young coders at least 13 years old can also enter an app in the Battle!

Krista Summitt, chief storyteller for the Lenovo Developer Program, says Battle of the Apps offers developers the opportunity to receive recognition for creating something remarkable with the latest Lenovo technologies.

“I am so stoked because this is the first self-sponsored code challenge for LenovoDev,” adds Summit. “It shows off our Multi-User Multi-Touch technology and the prize package is a pretty sweet deal.”

Battle it out for a Lenovo Horizon 2s.

You can enter multiple apps in the contest, including existing ones you may have already registered with LenovoDev. To be considered, you will need to modify the app to follow specific entry requirements, including:

  • Education-based for K-12 or higher education
  • Finished Windows 8 or Windows 10 apps
  • Integrate Multi-User Multi-Touch technology (MUMT)
  • They need to be good – bring your A+ game!

You will need to submit your app in LenovoDev before entering the contest. Battle of the Apps is open to registered developers on LenovoDev.com in the United States and District of Columbia only. If you’re not a member of LenovoDev, it’s free to register.

If you have a question about developing or submitting your app for Battle of the Apps, use our contact form or leave a question in the contest thread of the LenovoDev Forum.

Read the official rules on the Battle of the Apps contest page and the full list of entry requirements and instructions.

Good luck and rock your app!
